The Iraqi Center for Telemedicine was established in 2017 and is the first Iraqi organization specialized in telemedicine technologies. Its mission is to improve healthcare in Iraq, particularly for vulnerable groups, through the use of technology and telemedicine practices. The center is the only Iraqi member and representative in the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth
